VMS's math team participants were Sara
Hojjatie, Brittney Harvey, Sunny Gupta, Joe
Lin, Andrew Akers, Amber Akers, Maia
Castleberry, Katherine Wakely, and Ty
Haynes. Karen Black (VMS - 7th Math) and
Wanda Rice (VMS - 7th Math) serve as the
math team sponsors for VMS. The team placed
3rd in the Team Competition for our area.
Joe Lin placed 6th in the individual
competition, which qualified him for the
State Competition in Atlanta! Way to go,
VMS Math Team!
