Valdosta High School Environmental Club awards scholarships

Molly Vega, club president received a $500 scholarship form Alex Alvarez- Environmental club Sponsor for her service efforts at VHS, VSU and the community.

Erin Petre, club vice president received a $100 scholarship from Bart Greer (left) of SE Records Management for her service efforts at VHS, VSU and the community.

Bart Greer has assisted VHS in recycling over 5000 lbs. of white paper this year as part of the new recycling program started at VHS by Alex Alvarez and the Environmental Club.
