School to host informational sessions on the IB
Diploma Programme
Valdosta High School
is a candidate school* for the International
Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This school is
pursuing authorization as an IB World School.
These are schools that share a common
philosophy—a commit to high quality,
challenging, international education that
Valdosta High School believes is important for
our students.
*Only schools
authorized by the International Baccalaureate
Organization (IBO) as IB World Schools can offer
any of its three academic programmes: the
Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years
Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme.
Candidate status gives no guarantee that
authorization will be granted.

Valdosta High
School will hold informational sessions for
parents and students who are interested in the
IB Diploma Programme. These sessions will be
held at 6:30 p.m. in the Valdosta High School
Performing Arts Center on the following dates:
For parents of
current freshmen: Thursday, March 6, 2008
For parents of current 8th graders:
Thursday, March 13, 2008
