SL Mason has Relay for Life Spirit Week

The Relay For Life team at S. L. Mason planned a week of exciting events for their students and faculty.  Each day, fun activities that involved the children, helped to raise awareness of cancer and support the school’s group.  They dressed for Sock It To Cancer wearing their craziest socks and sports jerseys to Team Up Against Cancer as well as, making cards for patients at Pearlman Cancer Center.

Not only had the week been set aside to show school spirit, but fund raising events for the faculty have raised money to sponsor their team.  Breakfasts, tee shirts, candy sales, jean days, BBQ dinners and a Yard Sale have all contributed to the upcoming event.  Egg Trees, honoring and memorializing those affected by cancer, are been displayed in the school lobby for everyone to enjoy.
